Finding Space for Water- Floodplain Restoration in the Weaver Valley (Summary Report) PDF Download.

Aim: 
This report identifies the need for floodplain restoration in the Weaver Valley.

Scope:  The study covers the Weaver Valley including the River Dane, which falls within the Weaver/Gowy catchment, and its towns (i.e. Northwich, Frodsham, Middlewich, Winsford, and Crewe and Nantwich).

Content:  The report provides an overview of the potential flood risk within the Weaver Valley and identifies national and regional policies into flood mitigation.  It explores the need for flood plain restoration as a key element of the WVRP.
