Bridge Signing Report


Aim: The report is concerned with increasing awareness of the locations of the waterways within the Weaver Valley with a view to:
• Promoting the area as a green environment,
• Encouraging tourism
• Improving quality of life
• Supporting businesses to invest

Scope: The study encompassed the entire Weaver Valley area and its watercourses, namely the Rivers Weaver, Dane and Wheelock and both the Trent and Mersey and Shropshire Union Canals.

Content:  The report documents 42 bridges throughout the Weaver Valley that have been identified for signing.
