Climate Change Action Plan - Part 2

Aim:  The report aims to set out a Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP) to be delivered, as part of the Weaver Valley Regional Park, by the WVRP team and partners.

Scope:  The study is relevant to the Weaver Valley in its entirety.

Content:  The CCAP develops priority actions for both climate change mitigation and adaptation to be delivered by the WVRP.  The actions are grouped around the four key themes of the WVRP (waterways, accessibility, market towns, natural and historic environment).

The priority actions developed in the CCAP are supported by evidence grouped according to six strands: energy efficiency and demand, energy supply, transport, carbon capture and sequestration, risks and opportunities, and raising awareness of and support for practical actions.
