David Topping

David comes from a commercial background, including sales, marketing, training and development, and HR. His final role before taking early retirement was as HR Director on the Commercial Board of a FTSE 100 company.

Since retirement, he has represented Congleton West for the Borough of Congleton and is Portfolio Holder for Healthy Communities, which includes Tourism. In addition, he sits on the boards of Visit Chester and Cheshire and South East Cheshire Enterprise. He is now a member of the Cheshire East Shadow Council.
